Minute books, 1960-1979.

Daily record of the events of the Court while in session, listing justices present at each meeting and summaries of the Court's sessions, including title of case and name of parties, court of record, attorneys, action taken, and who gave the majority opinion and dissent, if there was one. Both minute books and journals were kept by the Supreme Court from 1899 to 1960. Since information in the minute books is duplicated in the journals, the minute books for this period have not been retained. However the Court ordered that the journals be discontinued in 1960; minute books replace the journals after that date.
